Scrimmage HS-Solarducknews Aug 15, 2009 Eugene, Oregon-- It was a perfect day for a scrimmage weather-wise, early on the wind was whipping around Autzen stadium about 20 mph which gave the kickers and punters a bit of a problem but later in the day it did subside. This was also a day for the coaches to see the players in action with certain situations and how well the basics were being drawn upon from earlier practices. Nate Costa was on fire, Jeremiah Masoli was hot and Legarette Blount opened his day with a run knocking down anything that got in his way. This was a good day to evaluate the new kickers and punters. |
