EUGENE, OREGON--(Aug 25, 2008) --
U of O football practice resumed today getting ready for the
matchup with the University of Washington Huskie's, Nate
Costa was not in uniform but did help with the drills throwing A Splash of Purple
the football as he will be out 8-10 weeks with an injury suffered
during non contact drills 5 days ago. Justin Roper will most
likely be the starter for the game on Aug 30th which will
air on FSN.
Video and photo's were limited to warmups before practice
and after practice only and will be the same for Tuesday.
Wednesday-Friday will be closed to the public and media as
the Ducks prepare for the Saturday game.
The Scout team was dressed in purple today and simulated
the Huskie's this afternoon as I would guess the rest of the
week.
Justin Roper looked on top of the situation to the my un-educated
eye but in response to my question about the Huskie's he indicated
the "Ducks are going to win", but not in those exact words...
