A LOOK AT WIDE RECEIVERS AT U of O
EUGENE, OREGON--(August 12, 2008)
Practice had many different focuses today but I was
focused on the Wide Receivers. The basics were covered
and emphasis on catching the ball was pronounced with the
guidance of the coaching staff and the QB's. Chris Harper was
throwing but in a limited roll as he mostly handed off.
No serious injuries occurred although Andre Crenshaw encountered
an ankle problem, the official word will be tomorrow after he is
evaluated this afternoon.
Casey Matthews hauled in an INT, JWill caught pretty much everything,
Thurmond and Byrd were terrors on the defensive side of the ball and
John Hunt.. yes, Coach Bellotti is taking on a new personna.
